"I shall return." So General Douglas McArthur
promised the Philippines early in World War II. So I promised my
students at ESEPA Seminary in San Jose, Costa Rica, January 27 this
year, after two weeks of teaching them my basic course in counseling
using Vitality Therapy. In a tearful farewell, one after another
made me promise to return. Tomorrow's the day!
The main purpose of this trip is for me to teach
a forty-hour advanced counseling course I have never taught before.
It is called "How to borrow from twenty different counseling
methods." I will also do some preaching in local churches on
Sundays, and some teaching of Christian Family Living during the
week.
When you prayed for me during my July trip to Indonesia,
I experienced an uncommon anointing upon my clarity of thinking,
my tolerance for inconvenience, my alertness to informal opportunities
to be Christ to someone, and my own inner sense of deep appreciation
for the privilege. Please implore God for new miracles of this kind
among the sheep dear to Him in Costa Rica. I will keep you posted
about answers I notice.
